The latest in a series of exhilarating explorations into Mozart's work by Pierre Laurent-Aimard and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe: This time the focus lies on Mozart's great piano concertos, which are well able to match the pace of the tremendous "Idomeneo", and his Piano Quintet, which he said himself is "the best I have written in my entire life".
The concert from June 29 will be recorded by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ORF and broadcasted on July 13, 2008, 11.03 a.m. on radio OE1.
