Having appeared recently in Cosi fan tutte at Teatro San Carlo, Naples, La donna del lago at the Edinburgh Festival, Rossini´s Otello at Carnegie Hall, Don Giovanni in Brussels and Paris with René Jacobs, Il re pastore and Rossini's Adelaide di Borgogna with Alberto Zedda at the Mozart Festival of La Coruna, Kenneth Tarver also sang Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and Mozart's Requiem in Verbier.

Future engagements include Mozart’s Requiem with Frans Brüggen, Il Turco in Italia in Trieste, a new production of Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Sächsische Staastsoper in Dresden as well a new production of Händel's Belshazzar at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin and the Festival d'Art-Lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence with René Jacobs conducting.

Kenneth Tarver is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, Oberlin College Conservatory of Music and Yale University School of Music. A Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions winner and former member of the Metropolitan Opera Young Artist Program, Tarver was also a member of the Staatstheater Stuttgart ensemble.

Kenneth Tarver has sung principal tenor roles for the Festival d'Art Lyrique d'Aix en Provence, the Edinburgh Festival, the Staatsoper Berlin, the Hamburgische Staatsoper, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, the Milano Giuseppe Verdi Symphony Orchestra, the Semperoper Dresden, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Royal Opera Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Wiener Staatsoper and the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Kenneth’s repertoire encompasses the operatic roles of Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi and Berlioz as well as concert repertoire from Bach to Stravinsky. He has performed and recorded with Kent Nagano, Riccardo Chailly, Bernard Haitink and Sir Colin Davis, most notably the double Grammy awarded discs of Berlioz’ Les Troyens.
