Peter Sagaischek

Peter Sagaischek studied violin with Rainer Küchl and viola with Alfred Staar at the University of Music in Vienna; in 1990 he was engaged as viola section leader in the orchestra of Vienna Volksoper, since 1993 he has been playing solo viola in the same orchestra.

He regularly performs as chamber musician in Austria and Europe, e.g. with the "Philharmonia Quintett Wien", the "Wiener Gustav-Mahler-Quartett", the "Trio plus Wien" and the "Wiener Instrumentalsolisten". As soloist he toured in Hungary, Thailand, and Japan.

At the styriarte 2008 Peter Sagaischek plays as member of the Mozartensemble der Wiener Volksoper.
